Word
How often does one get the opportunity to meet a Nobel Laureate?
Today I met 4. Incredible gentlemen with incredible insights (did you expect any less?).
To say there were words of gems is an understatement. A couple I remembered.
"The future is uncertain, but uncertainty isn't necessary a bad thing"
"We need to teach the next generation to learn how to interact, to learn how to interact with people, not just machines"
Yet so human, as one shared that the thing that keeps him awake at night are matters that he does not understand. And one of the things that baffles him is the breakdown of the governments. How what we discuss about the working of market forces, technological leaps and responses hinges on the working of a proper government.
These same uncertainty scares me. Scares me cause i have 2 small kids and I cannot imagine what their world will be like. For now i'll hold on to the thought that - uncertainty isn't necessary a bad thing.
